Sugar Ridge Community Church utilizes a congregational form of governance. The Administrative Council provides for the overall daily operations of the church. They are responsible for a wide variety of administrative functions including but not limited to the church budget, facility maintenance, membership decisions, staffing, etc. The election of the Administrative Council takes place at an annual meeting of the congregation occurring in September. Church business, elections, and yearly reports are standard agenda items at the annual meeting. The pastor is responsible for the taking care of the spiritual needs of the membership. The council works in collaboration with the pastor to assure the needs of the church community are attended.
